Galatians 3:5-6 MSG
Answer this question: Does the God who lavishly provides you with his own presence, his Holy Spirit, working things in your lives you could never do for yourselves, does he do these things because of your strenuous moral striving or because you trust him to do them in you? Don’t these things happen among you just as they happened with Abraham? He believed God, and that act of belief was turned into a life that was right with God.
Have you ever bought a pair of shoes or a car, or named your child a name that you thought was at least a little bit unique… only to suddenly see those shoes or the car or that name absolutely everywhere? That’s the power of awareness.
God is at work in our lives through his Holy Spirit. Let’s take a moment today to heighten our awareness of that. Start with this question: What is happening in my life at the moment that can only be God, working things in my life that I could never do for myself?
And now, take a moment to respond by closing your eyes and thanking the Holy Spirit for what he is doing in your life. Let’s give God praise and glory for who he is and the way he is at work in our lives.
