Now may God, the inspiration and fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with his super-abundance until you radiate with hope!
God is “the inspiration and fountain of hope.” I love the picture that these words create.
Inspiration reminds me of an artist, someone who is inspired to do something unique. Somehow, they bring their creation to life. That’s who God is. God is the one who creates hope in our hearts.
God designed humans to live in hope. But life happens and certain circumstances, disappointments, unmet expectations, trauma, and broken reality can make us lose hope.
We can be encouraged today that God is the fountain of hope. Although a fountain is contained, fountains consistently flow and – if you stand close to a fountain – you’ll get caught by the spray.
The closer we get to God, the fountain of hope, and as we rely on the power of the Holy Spirit, the more hope we will experience and embody. That hope is one that results in uncontainable joy and perfect peace.
Today, choose to wake up hope!
