Romans Devotional 2/3

Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

In this portion of scripture in Romans, Paul is writing to the Christian church about the pain and the suffering we might face here on earth. He was sharing how it doesn’t compare to the future glory we will experience in heaven.

Paul encourages believers who are living for Christ that no matter what we face, as we continue to love God and obey His calling on our lives, we can know that the glory we will experience in heaven is far greater.

When we experience pain and suffering, we can be reminded that we will ultimately see God bring about good both in our life and in the world when we choose to continue to love Him and obey him through the challenges we face.
